hyperextended my knee 12wks post-op -- uh-oh?

12 wks post-op (hamstring auto reconstrux + meniscus repair), progressing well, I stepped into a hole and hyperextended my knee. No significant swelling, but 5 days later it still feels very stiff and achy. Anyone with similar experience out there? Wondering how likely it is I've done significant damage to either the repair or recon.
